
AGU’s main campus, located on Kayseri’s urban periphery and named after one of the greatest artistic and architectural geniuses of world history, Mimar Sinan, represents the university’s vision of Higher Education’s Third generation.
The architectural project designed by Çırakoğlu Architects (Alişan Çırakoğlu, Ilgın Avcı, Istanbul) won the National Architectural Prize of the Chamber of Architects of Turkey in 2014.
Based on a contemporary university planning approach, faculty offices, classrooms and research laboratories are designed as flowing and intersecting spaces forming the new spatial interfaces of multi- and trans-disciplinary research and study environments.
